We are currently hiring a Associate Science & Strategy Consultant for our client who is a boutique consulting company with a focus on the life sciences industry. This role is responsible for providing a unique and rushing approach to strategy and medical communications. While our client’s portfolio is large their specialty is companies who are launching new therapies or entering new disease areas and are looking for strategic partners. This is an intermediate level, full-time role supporting client project delivery.

  • Conduct research and gather, interpret, and organize scientific and business intelligence data for strategy projects.
  • Research and draft therapeutic area reports that capture scientific and business intelligence.
  • Manage preparation for facilitated client workshops.
  • Develop reports capturing the output of facilitated client workshops and interviews.
  • Research and summarize scientific literature and act as a client resource on scientific content.
  • Work within a team environment to facilitate successful execution project of deliverables.



  • A comprehensive understanding of the life sciences with the ability to utilize this knowledge across different therapeutic areas. A Masters or higher in Life Sciences is required. (MSc., PhD., PharmD, etc.)
  • 1-3 years’ experience in an agency setting with client exposure, preferably within the life sciences sector.
  • Able to start working full time within 3 weeks of receiving an offer.
  • Able to analyze and communicate (written and verbal) scientific information across different therapeutic areas at a level of detail for appropriate for the audience.
  • Demonstrated analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a project team to execute deliverables within stated timelines.
  • Proven writing/communication skills with high attention to detail - both in a narrative style for reports as well as PowerPoint presentations.
  • Exemplary organization and time management skills.
  • Strong capability in juggling priorities to meet deadlines while retaining consistently high-quality outcomes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, excellence in PowerPoint.
  • Legally able to work in Canada, a valid passport and ability to travel to Europe and USA.
