We are recruiting 20+ Blast Crew for contract roles with a leading Iron Ore producer. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career with one of Australia’s top mining houses while taking advantage of an excellent rate of pay and fantastic site culture.

Working as part of a drill and blast team, you will be required to prime and load blast holes, mark up drill patterns and support your team members to achieve the unit’s shared objectives.

These roles are being offered on a 2:1 roster with FIFO from either Perth or Busselton. Successful candidates will start on a 6-month contract with the potential to go permanent based on performance.



  • Previous Drill & Blast experience is highly desirable but not essential, however to be considered for this role you must have some experience in a mining or FIFO environment
  • "C" class unrestricted manual license
  • National Police Clearance (within 12 months)
  • Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC)
  • Great attitude and team mindset is essential

During the interview, you will be assessed on your level of experience and skills, work history, availability, and the qualifications the company is seeking for the position.

After successfully making through the phone interview, a face to face interview will be scheduled between the candidate and recruiter. This session can be a more in-depth interview to review your communication and interpersonal skills.
