Chief Financial Officer

A reputable Construction Contractor based in Maryland is looking for their next CFO. Someone with the ability to take a strategic leadership approach, overseeing the financial activities of the Company and working towards their growth. Great organization with an impressive EBITDA and impressive leaders to work with across all entities. This position is responsible for leading the financial direction of the company and executing the company's financial strategy. Responsible for developing plans for growth to increase profit while reducing expenditures. This role will be reporting to the CEO and will be managing all accounting procedures and personnel and will have some direct reports as well. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership to the Company as a member of the senior leadership team
  • Develop long- term business strategies and financial plans, corporate finance, annual budgets, managing all accounting, financial, treasury, credit financing, tax, compliance and risk management activities of the Company
  • Oversee the Accounting function
  • Manage Cash Flow Forecasting, Credit and Collection.
  • Perform Monthly and annual Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Manage Banking Relationships and Credit Facilities and Related Tax Functions
  • Implement financial policies, procedures and practices
  • Develop Company's surety, banking and insurance relationships.
  • Oversee and monitor the Company’s financial position.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Accounting;
  • CPA preferred.
  • An experienced leader and Financial Executive with 10-15 years’ minimum of broad financial experience
  • Experience in the construction industry is preferred
  • Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (preferred)
  • EPR systems implementation experience (preferred)
  • Dashboards experience (preferred)
  • Desire to work in a smaller to midsize environment
