Brunel have partnered with one of Australia’s leading EPCM delivery Service Partners to successfully recruit and place a suitably qualified Civil Engineer for 12 month contract position. This role will initially be Perth-Based before transitioning to site mid-2022 on a 14/7 FIFO roster supporting our Clients site-based team.

This person will work as part of the project detailed design engineering team to develop engineering design inputs and documentation to IFT/IFC stage. It will then transition to site to support construction oversite personnel from a technical perspective and liaise with the Perth based technical team to ensure site technical conformance.

As this will be part of the Detailed Design team before transitioning into Implementation Phase, you must be prepared to transition to a site based construction support role by mid-2022 and work on a 2/1 roster.

Although this is not a Senior position, the successful candidate must have suitable experience so they can be productive with limited support and would suit a mid-career level.



  • Pilbara civil mine experience essential
  • RTIO projects experience preferred
  • Strong technical background in Mining/Industrial sector.
  • Civil engineering experience in WA Iron Ore industry.
  • Experience in civil discipline on multi-discipline projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.



  • 12 Months Contract
  • Perth based for 6 Months then transitioning to FIFO 2/1 Roster
