Brunel has an exciting opportunity for a Country Manager working for our client located in Australia. We are looking for professional based anywhere in India. This is a permanent position.

Country Manager India:

  • Establish, manage and lead in-country team(s) and establish a strong values-based culture;
  • Build and manage India business operations that aligns with corporate values;
  • Develop, implement and maintain a country engagement strategy, supported by sound research of the socio-economic potential of the country;
  • Identify and negotiate potential in-country offtake agreements for gH2 and gHN3;
  • Develop a roadmap to grow the India portfolio and the associated in-country team requirements to support such;
  • Build and maintain the relationship with in-country partner, to identify and progress collaboration opportunities and contribute to the decarbonization of steel mills;
  • Leverage the relationship and progress made on joint initiatives, to grow credibility within India and underpin our green energy ambitions across projects [potentially] outside of the agreement;
  • Initiate, build and maintain key relationships with in-country stakeholders and all levels of government and industry, to facilitate the securing and development of target energy sites;
  • Secure access to renewable resources and land for industrial sites, through land acquisitions, securing licenses, and the required approvals;
  • Lead all aspects of the regional portfolio which can include wind, solar, tidal, hydroelectric and/or geothermal energy projects, and power purchase agreements (PPAs);
  • Ensure adheres to all regional laws, regulations and cultural guidelines;
  • Identify opportunities and implement initiatives to develop the brand in-country;
  • Maximise performance across the team and develop and coach staff to encourage further growth opportunities;
  • Manage project targets through feasibility, design, approval and delivery phases;
  • Maintain strong relationships and frequent communication with stakeholders including employees, Executive Team, Consultants, and Service Providers;
  • Support the technical teams by engaging required consultants and Subject Matter Experts to ensure best practise and utilisation of world leading technologies;
  • Plan, forecast and manage the in-country budget;
  • Prepare Board reporting and country updates as required.
