Brunel Australasia are currently seeking Expressions of Interest for Oilfield Drilling Rig Personnel! This is an exciting opportunity to join a global Oil & Gas industry leader, working in the Surat Basin.

This will be a contract based role for upcoming drilling activity in the Surat Basin, commencing June 2021. An exciting opportunity to join a major international oilfield service company. Seeking Candidates ideally based in South East Queensland for FIFO/DIDO.
Required roles will be as follows;

  • Rig Electrician
  • RSCT
  • Welder
  • Day Tour Pusher
  • Driller
  • Assistant Driller
  • Derrickman
  • Motorhand
  • Floorhand
  • Leasehand
  • Mechanic



  • Must be experienced working in similar roles
  • First Aid /CPR
  • 4x4 Operate Vehicles in the Field
  • Breathing Apparatus
  • Confined Space Training
  • Gas Testing and Monitoring
  • Working At Heights
  • Wellsite Permit to Work
  • Cert II-IV in Drilling
  • IWCF



  • 3 -12 Month contract
  • Surat Basin Based position (FIFO from Brisbane)

After successfully making through the phone interview, a face to face interview will be scheduled between the candidate and recruiter. This session can be a more in-depth interview to review your communication and interpersonal skills.
