About this role

We’re hiring a Field Service Engineer for our client, a leading company, to join their growing team. This is a 35 + days contractual position.

Job description:

  • Well Control Equipment;
  • Supervision of Disassembly of BOP Stack components;
  • Visual, Dimensional & Gauging Inspection of Stack Components;
  • Co-ordinate & supervise NDT on BOP Components;
  • Supervision of Assembling Stack Components which includes-rebuilding Bonnets, BOP Bodies, C & K Stab assemblies;
  • Witness – Function & Pressure testing of all BOP Stack Equipment’s;
  • Troubleshoot Equipment as needed and support the Customer;
  • Prepare detailed Inspection Reports per the procedures;
  • Ensure all necessary documents including Equipment SN traces, pressure charts, calibration details are recorded and submitted to team within 3 days of finishing the Work scope/ signing off the Rig;
  • Provide daily progress reports to the customer and Support team onshore;
  • Submit Field Service Paperwork’s -Timesheets, Service Reports, Lesson learned documents post completion of the work scopes.
