Lead System Engineer (ECM)

About this role


  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in IT organization of a large enterprise of which six (6) years should be of practical working experience in implementing and managing ECM solutions;
  • In-depth knowledge of current and emerging ECM products and solutions, including market positioning, within the technology and solutions domain, as well as administrative best practices, in area of technical specialization;
  • Broad and deep hands-on technical and functional skills in an open-systems environment;
  • ECM technical understanding with ability to translate into business concepts;
  • Project management experience involving a large system deployment.
  • Possess relationship management, project management and conflict resolution skills;
  • Able to bring together and work with a team of people with varied backgrounds – business analysts, technical experts, process owners - to articulate and remedy service level issues;
  • Ability to establish, maintain, and foster positive and harmonious working relationships with those contacted in the course of work;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic (preferred);
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry is desirable;
  • Provide expertise and detailed IT consulting, deliver quality services to customers;
  • Work with Change Managers to understand the SLM requirements for new services and changes aiming user satisfaction;
  • Conduct ROI and business value assessments;
  • Ensure that proposed new systems integrated fully with other live system and consider and recommend modifications and improvements as necessary.



Professional Qualification(s):

  • Engineering degree in Computer /Electronics/ Electrical/ Telecommunication/ Information System IBM ECM Components Certifications;

Skills & Competencies:

  • IBM ECM Components, ECM products and solutions, SLM requirements, ROI and business value assessments;
