Brunel is currently searching for several Millwright Mechanics for direct hire at our client’s processing facility in the mining and metals industry. This position will be a rotating shift, on-site at the mine located about an hour East of Phoenix, Arizona.

As a Millwright Mechanic – Mine Processing Maintenance Tech 4, you will be responsible for working in a team environment to efficiently and safely perform multiple job functions to include maintenance of mechanical drives, basic hydraulics and pneumatics, basic welding, perform Lock Out, Tag Out procedures and more.

The position requires self-direction and good decision making on a consistent basis.



  • Role requires leadership and responsibility of work area with a high level of safety awareness
  • Must have experience in Confined Space Procedures; Fall Protection; Lock Out, Tag Out and Try Out Procedures; contamination control techniques; and Barricading Procedures.
  • You will be required to complete MSHA new miner or AR training
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the following: Threads and Fasteners; Basic Mechanical Drives (belt drives); basic Lubrication; Bearings and Seals; basic Hydraulics and Pneumatics experience; basic Shaft Alignment; basic welding knowledge (ARC, MIG, and stick)
  • Ability to read and understand schematics
  • Basic computer skills with previous SAP experience preferred
  • Must have valid Arizona Driver's license
  • Must have effective communication skills with fluency in English required
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship


Your time will be spent in the plant with some outdoor activity in all weather conditions. You will be required to wear all necessary and required PPE provided. You will be required to undergo pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol testing and successfully pass a background check.
