About this role

  • Responsible for the smooth implementation of the NRW Consulting contract and for its compliance;
  • Facilitate the coordination of the activities of COMPANY and National Water Company (NWC);
  • Review all commercial and technical losses arising from NRW operations;
  • Perform a complete tariff analysis and assessment of the existing revenue-management infrastructure and activities;
  • Collect and analyze comprehensive data (primary and secondary) from all sources, including field investigations;
  • Collaborate and liaise with the related team of field and mobile specialists located around the country. Coordinate the mobile specialists for the implementation of the action plan;
  • Prepare formal recommendations for reduction of losses, including (but not limited to):
    • Specific technological upgrades to increase the efficient of revenue generation (e.g. materials, telemetry, automated metering);
    • NRW reduction strategies (e.g. pressure management, GIS, SCADA);
    • Improved and automated billings and collections processes;
    • Recovery plans for specific customer groups (e.g. large customers, remote communities);
    • and also the integration/regularization plans for such groups
  • Deliver all reports as per; contract requirement and ensure they are achieved on time and to the required standard;
  • Responsible for establishing sound and practical documents sustaining the definition and
  • monitoring of KPIs in close collaboration with team;
  • Support the Project Manager in the overall management of the contract.

Requirements

Requirements

  • MSc. or equivalent relevant degree qualifications in Engineering or Finance;
  • Approximately 10 years’ experience in Water and Wastewater;
  • Proven knowledge of commercial/technical loss reduction in NRW projects for major utilities;
  • Direct experience of the above-mentioned responsibilities;
  • Willing to live and work in Riyadh for the duration of the position/project.
