About this role
As Contracts Administrator you will be supporting all contract requirements for the domestic and international trading business, of this world-leading energy corporation. Your focus will be on managing routine Crude Oil and Refined Products contracts and contracts for routine Natural Gas Liquids.
You’ll be working as part of a busy team in a fast-paced environment, where priorities can shift from hour to hour. You’ll need to be detail-oriented with excellent communication skills to support our high-performance culture. You’ll be expected to show your initiative and be able to take action on routine matters independently.
Of course you’ll handle all activities with high confidentiality as well as a high level of independence. You’ll apply your analytical and problem-solving skills to make decisions that are in keeping with overall strategy.
- Reviewing, identifying and labeling incoming contract correspondence and email, and handling all routine matters straight away
- Electronically confirming crude and products contracts in ICE eConfirm
- Maintaining access to shared information, i.e. shared folders, contact lists, SharePoint, etc.
- Completing a monthly team Self-Audit of Contracts
- Supporting all internal contract compliance reporting requirements
There’s a variety of other special projects you might be also asked to contribute to – this will help raise your profile and add experience to your resume.

You must be proficient (seriously – an expert) in Microsoft Office applications – you will be using Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel on a daily basis in this position.
- Bachelor's degree
- Some Contracts experience (1-3 years)
- Oil and gas industry experience

A Bachelor’s degree is useful, but not essential. Mention any oil and gas contracts experience in your application, but candidates with a detail-oriented attitude and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments are welcome.
