Brunel is currently searching for a Part-time External Affairs Advisor for a contract to potentially direct position with our client located in Washington D.C.

The External Affairs Advisor will support the Manager of International External Affairs for our client. This position is outward facing for all communications and media and we are seeking an experienced go-getter who is looking for a part-time, flexible schedule, 3 days a week.

  • Generating PowerPoint presentations
  • Writing and preparing briefing notes
  • Company Branding
  • Attending meetings with manager or as stand-in at events/meetings when manager is otherwise engaged elsewhere due to extensive travel.
  • Public Relations and media communications



  • Bachelor degree in Media, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications or similar
  • 1-2 years of experience, government relations preferred
  • Advanced experience with MS Office including Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent presentation skills both written and spoken
  • Excellent organization skills
  • International experience helpful
  • Ability to be forward thinking and be the face of the company in media, public relations and government affairs
  • Ability to work independently and with little direction, must be a self-starter
  • Must be able fluent in English
  • Must be eligible to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship

Hourly rate. Position is open on rate and will be determined based on experience level.
