About this role

We are looking for a dynamic high performer Plant Manager, located in Monterrey, N.L., to be part of our Energy Business team.

  • As a plant Manager you will be responsible for:
  • Plant performance indices;
  • Development of competent contract management resources;
  • Operations & Maintenance management for assigned plant;
  • Responsible for all activities relating to the daily contract management at the power plant inclusive of planning and implementation of plant operations & maintenance;
  • Communicate effectuvely with the plant team relative to the condition of the plant equipment and performance and to provide suggestions for improvements;
  • Administration and training of skilled and motivated contract management personnel to assure good teamwork;
  • Responsible for implementation of plant safety policy;
  • Establish and implement standard Services procedures and Contract Management process;
  • Prepare reports, plans and budgets as instructed by the Contract Manager;
  • Identify and actively seek to improve operational & maintenance reliability and availability.

  • Building a competitive and motivated team of contract management personnel;
  • Develop the contract management working routines at the plant;
  • Set's objectives for his/her team; manages site personnel in the proper performance of assigned duties and maintains a record of their performance;
  • Prepares annual operating plans, budgets and controls for operating at budgeted levels and operating shift scheduled to accommodate facility operation and scheduled maintenance.
  • Qualifications:
  • Engineering BS Degree is a plus with ten (10) years' experience in a related industry;
    and/or a technical diploma/associates degree and fifteen (15) years' experience in a
    related industry.
  • Must demonstrate a strong technical and managerial capability
    Five (5) years previous experience managing operations and personnel
