About this role

We’re hiring a Production Team Lead for our client, a leading company, to join their growing team. This is a 18 months contractual position (On company payroll) in Barmer location.

  • Production Team lead is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Integrated Management System (IMS), Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Sustainability and Wellbeing of all persons onboard the facility;
  • For a safe and efficient Process operation, the maintenance of technical integrity, compliance with safe operating practices, environmental and legislative requirements;
  • Responsible for the safe and cost effective operation and maintenance of the Installation’s production systems with minimal environmental impact in accordance with legislation and the Integrated Installation Management System;
  • Fulfil the risk management requirements by ensuring all risks in the production system, associate utilities operation and maintenance are identified and procedures are established and implemented;
  • Manage the human resources available to the production group so as to maintain a flexible and efficient work culture;
  • Monitor the planned maintenance system and to report any non- compliances;
  • The promotion and enforcement of continuous improvement initiatives and International Industry best practices through engagement of all stakeholders;
  • Ensure compliance to HSSEQ policies, MAPP Policy, procedures and guidelines during activities;
  • Comply with Process Safety guidelines during activities.



BE Chem / Mech or equivalent having experience in operation in Oil & Gas Plant of at least capacity of 135 BOEPD.

Having Experience of Gas Turbine of min 15 MW & Gas Plant of Capacity min 135 MMSCFD shall be the subject matter expert in Gas plant operations.

Knowledge / Experience / Skills

Ten (10) year experience in the offshore / oil & gas industry, a minimum 3 years of which needs to have been gained in similar roles/positions. Diploma engineer with 3 years additional experience required.

  • Experience in the operation and maintenance of process equipment;
  • Experience with Safety Management System and Computerized Maintenance Management System;
  • Strong personal and interpersonal skills.
