Brunel are working with a global leader in the mining and resources sector to recruit a Project Engineer with a background in civil engineering and bulk earthworks to join a multidisciplinary project team on a FIFO 8/6 roster to the Pilbara.

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Support the design team, ensuring designs are constructible and meet project scope.
  • Provide project engineering support for bulk earthworks and civil works.
  • Perform tender evaluations and review project documentation.
  • Contractor management, ensuring adherence to budget and schedule.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in the safest manner and that quality management is maintained.
  • Work in a collaborative manner within a multidisciplinary delivery team.



  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil).
  • 3+ years’ experience in mining bulk earthworks and civil construction.
  • Strong awareness in the development of project schedules and considerations of regulatory approvals.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working in a collaborative project team.
  • WA C Class Driver’s License.



  • FIFO 8/6 roster to the Pilbara
  • August 2021 commencement
  • 6 months+ duration

After successfully making through the phone interview, a face to face interview will be scheduled between the candidate and recruiter. This session can be a more in-depth interview to review your communication and interpersonal skills.
