About this role

Brunel have partnered with one of Australia’s leading Industrial Service Providers, to successfully recruit and place a suitable qualified Pump Fitter to join our client’s professional services team. This position will assist with all the repair of rotating machinery and associated equipment and the Manufacture of associated components.

  • Commitment to working in a safe manner always, including following all safety procedures and use of appropriate PPE
  • Understand and commit to following and adhering to all operational requirements in alignment with company values, safety; and quality procedures / policies and processes
  • Employ fault finding methodology for pumps repair
  • Striping and survey pumping equipment noting parts identification, configuration, and condition in accordance with QA procedures
  • Carrying out pressure testing of pumps to ensure functioning correctly
  • Reading and checking job cards to determine job status, work authorisations / limitations, estimate, description of problems, and /or expected serviceability
  • Rebuild pumping equipment in accordance with applicable pump standards
  • Support and encourage personnel development through organised training regimes
  • Provide service delivery that is customer focused, flexible, and adaptable



  • Work experience or expressed interest in rotating equipment
  • Trade Certificate I or II Electrical Mechanical Repairs or equivalent
  • Attention to detail
  • High level of communication skills
  • Good level of time management
  • Ability to engage and work with others
  • Dedication to working in a safe manner at all times



  • Hourly Rate: $45 - $48 per hour + Super (for Perth based workshop hours)
  • Site Hours will attract a Site Uplift/ Casual Loading
  • Role: Perth based – with ad hoc site travel
  • Additional Rates on offer for overtime hours
  • Work Location: Perth Airport
  • Team: Rotating Equipment
