Brunel Australia are working in partnership with our Client to successfully place a suitably qualified SAP Coordinator into a permanent, staff position with one of our Oil & Gas Operator Clients.

  • Darwin Based – Monday to Friday (Residential)

The SAP PM Coordinator will assist the SAP subject matter expert (SME) in the planning, development and implementation of master data and act as the focal point for security roles in the SAP PM system. The role plays an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that goals and objectives of SAP PM requests are accomplished within prescribed time frames.

  • Detailed knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance.
  • Understand the integration touch points between SAP Plant Maintenance and the other related SAP modules HR, MM
  • In depth knowledge of Work management processes covering Work identification, Work prioritization, Work Planning.
  • Understanding of assurance-based activities with the Work Management Processes e.g. inclusion of RBI, SIL, Safety
  • Knowledge of Maintenance strategy development for campaign & shutdown planning.
  • Knowledge of reliability engineering and root cause analysis.
  • Knowledge of Inspection, Electrical, Mechanical and Instrumentation equipment used in the onshore and offshore
  • Changing (adding/removing) materials from BOM’S (Bill of Materials)



  • Ideally 10+ years significant functional experience in SAP Plant Maintenance, with 5+ years in Oil &Gas
  • Ideally have an engineering or trade background in Mechanical/Instrument/Electrical
  • Experience of supporting SAP PM Applications and integrations.
  • Experience in the use of Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM), Risk Based Inspections (RBI) and Safety Integrity
  • High level of computer literacy, Excel (advance level), Visio, PowerPivot, Power Query and Business Intelligence.
