Cyber Security Specialist (OT) - Permanent - Perth.

Brunel Australasia are seeking a Cyber Security Specialist for IT/OT in Perth. This position maintains the systems within the Telecommunications, Control and Package Network.

You will have demonstrable experience in Oil and Gas sector.

Configuration and securing Microsoft Windows servers and desktops in a Telecoms or Process Control environment.

Microsoft Active Directory, Group and Local Security Policy knowledge.

Strong Cisco ASA Firewall configuration and management.

Excellent written and oral communication with all levels of management and team members.

The ability to produce high quality technical documentation and reports.

Knowledge of industry security standards.

Requirements

Network security architecture and design, including, but not limited to Firewalls, Routers, SIEM, Proxy, IPS and Authentication Services.

Technical risk assessment methodologies within a cyber security context.

Understanding of Cyber security principles within Enterprise IT and including applicable standards and Frameworks such as NIST CSF.

Understanding of Cyber security principles within Operational technologies and applicable standards including ISA/IEC 62443.

Ability to produce high quality technical documentation and architectural diagrams.

Experience in cyber security vulnerability identification and tracking.

IT Governance or Audit Certifications (e.g. CGEIT, CISA) are desirable

General technical security qualifications are desirable (e.g. CISSP)

Degree in IT or related field, or relevant experience.

Provide technical network and security architectural advice

Ensure that security controls are designed and implemented according to company risk appetite and in line with agreed policy and standards.

Support the alignment of governance between Enterprise IT and Operational Technologies.

Support lifecycle planning.

Conduct Cyber Security compliance reviews of required systems

Coordinate vulnerability management / treatment.

Ensure systems receive Windows updates and Antivirus updates in line with OT Standards.

Periodic reporting of cyber security performance indicators.

Participate in investigations in to cyber security control failures as needed.

Provide support related to the monitoring of system servers.

Ensure new infrastructure is implemented in line with approved standards and specifications.
