Brunel is seeking experienced Signal Technicians for local works in the Port Hedland area.

  • FIFO 2:2 roster
  • 12 hour days
  • Ongoing role – permanent for the right candidate

Scope of Works:

  • Working across entire network
  • Locations maintenance
  • Points maintenance
  • Preventative maintenance and inspections
  • DC Track Circuits
  • Using Electrologics

Reporting to the Signals Supervisor, you will:

  • Efficiently carry out planned maintenance and inspections of train control signaling and associated communications to provide safe and reliable operation of the railway
  • Safely support Rail Network Renewal activities
  • Assist with the development and implementation of improvement projects and propose improvements to maintenance processes
  • Communicate regularly with key stakeholders including Train Control, Rail Operations and Engineering Support regarding the signaling system performance
  • Identify faults and implement permanent solutions

Requirements

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Current Electrical License
  • Experience in Rail Signaling
  • 'C' Class Manual Driver’s Licence
  • Excellent communications skills and proven ability to interact with all levels of personnel
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety procedures and systems
