Brunel is currently searching for a Sr. AutoCAD Drafting Specialist for a direct hire role with our client located in Miami, Arizona.

The purpose of this position is to provide drafting and AutoCAD support to the Engineering, Capital Projects and Facilities Planning teams on-site.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support Project Management and Engineering personnel with drafting services
  • Drafting support for engineering projects
  • Document and drawing updates
  • Support survey activities with initial and updated as built drawings
  • Manage drawing control system
  • Manage O&M packages for projects
  • Gather and utilize detailed field information for accurate and up to date drawings
  • Maintain and expand the engineering documentation system. This includes organizing the most up to date documents into the system, maintaining proper edit permissions and support the use of all functions within the system. Maintain condition of physical files and document integrity.
  • Modify existing and new documents to current status via CAD and PDF editors.



  • Associates degree in drafting is a plus / CAD drafting or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years AutoCAD 3D drafting experience in an industrial environment
  • Must have a general understanding of drawing detailing and able to read an interpret prints
  • Strong computer experience
  • Experience with drawing control and document management
  • Must have excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
  • Must be able to work under limited supervision
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for any employer



This position offers a competitive salary package between $72K-$91K based on experience level. In addition, there is a generous 401K matching along with share matching program, world class benefits package and more. This role will be on-site on a 4 day work week, 10-hour day schedule.
