We are actively recruiting a Staff Transmission Engineer for a major US full-service engineering, architecture, construction, environmental and consulting firm.

This is a 7 month minimum contract. As a Staff
Transmission Engineer the successful applicant will perform, lead, and oversee
all engineering responsibilities related to overhead transmission line design.

Bachelor's degree in civil or electrical engineering from accredited program. Minimum 4 years of experience. Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. This position requires an experienced and competent individual capable of successfully solving difficult problems that require adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria. Minimum 2 years of design experience in PLS-CADD line design software modules preferred. Must be capable of devising new approaches to problems encountered. Completion of FE exam is required. Texas PE license (or ability to obtain within 1 year) is preferred.
