  • Tier one oil and gas operator
  • Initial 12 month contract
  • Initially Perth-based (expected 1 year) with business trips to Office/Yard in SE Asia as required.
  • Supporting phase 2b module and brownfields scopes

An exciting opportunity for a Structural Engineer to supporting phase 2b module and brownfields scopes including:

• Structural design• Interface with T+I
• Support CPF capacity work by external contractor (SESAM)• Internal structural studies (SACS)
• Weight control• Technical query responses
• Contractor document reviews

  • Phase 2b module and brownfields scopes including:
  • Structural design
  • Interface with T+I
  • Support CPF capacity work by external contractor (SESAM)
  • Internal structural studies (SACS)
  • Weight control
  • Technical query responses
  • Contractor document reviews
  • Ensure adherence to applicable specifications, codes and standards.
  • Input to Technical Queries/Deviations to Company specifications and Industry codes and standards
  • Ensure high quality of Contractor documentation in Execute.
  • Provide input and guidance to external studies
  • Adherence to Project BOD



  • Tertiary Engineering Degree (Structural)
  • 5-7 Years Offshore Oil and Gas industry experience in structural design
  • SESAM experience
  • SACS experience.
  • Experience in fabrication of offshore steel structures.
  • Detailed knowledge of relevant codes and standards including DNV, AISC and API.
  • Weight control experience

After successfully making through the phone interview, a face to face interview will be scheduled between the candidate and recruiter. This session can be a more in-depth interview to review your communication and interpersonal skills.
