Brunel have partnered with one of Australia’s leading EPCM delivery Service Partners to successfully recruit and place a suitably qualified Track Supervisor for a contract position supporting our Clients site-based team on a 2/1 roster.

The Supervisor will be ensuring that the Contractors team will be constructing railway track to the standards, specifications and procedures contained in their contract. The role is a construction compliance role as well as a role in assisting with site logistics to deliver Client supplied materials.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in the Rail Maintenance and Construction industry for at least 10 years. With at least 5 years in a Supervisory capacity.
  • Previous experience working in a supervisory capacity on greenfield track construction projects, preferably in the mining industry
  • Ability to interpret plans and procedures relating to rail track construction and undertake conformance assessments against these plans and procedures
  • Proven experience in managing large teams of 30 or more people
  • Good oral and written skills
  • Ability to work flexible rosters including day and night shifts
  • Proven experience in managing contractors and subcontractors

After successfully making through the phone interview, a face to face interview will be scheduled between the candidate and recruiter. This session can be a more in-depth interview to review your communication and interpersonal skills.
